- Click on the Build number several times until you will notify by a message you are now a developer.

How to update Nexus Devices via OTA update
Step 1: Type first the below command
Step 2: And then load your device into bootloader menu, first turn off your device and then press and hold the Power + Volume Down button at the same time for a while, when the bootloader menu loads then release the button.
./adb reboot bootloader
Step 3: After that use the volume down button scroll until you have entered into Recovery mode, and then press then Power button to select it.
Step 4: Now press and hold the Power + Volume Up button, then you will be entered into Recovery mode.
Step 5: Then you are in the Android system recovery, and then use the Volume Down button to highlight apply update from ADB and press the Power button to select it. After that put the OTA file to the device using ADB.
./adb sideload [OTA file].zip
Step 6: Once you transfer the update to your phone then you will see the progress of transferring. And once it has completely transfer then read carefully on the screen, what’s happening.
Step 7: Once the process is done, then your Nexus smartphone will restart itself and attempt to boot normally.
