How to Root Nexus 5 Smartphone Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow [Tutorial]
Step 1: With the necessary files downloaded, then go ahead and boot your device into custom recovery mode. for that, turn off you Nexus 5 smartphone, and then press and hold the volume down + power button at the same time and enter to bootloader mode. and then press the volume down button two times to get in the “ Recovery mode” and the press the power button to select it.
Step 2: Now in the TWRP main menu, go ahead and press the “Install” button. After that, you get the next option and select the Download folder.
Step 3: And then select the ElementalX kernel file that you downloaded in the begin Step.
Step 4: After that, just simply swipe the slider at the bottom of the screen to install the kernel, and when that’s finished. Then click on the home button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Step 5: Now Flash the SuperSU to Get the Root Access, this is the same method like the previous step. Just simply proceed click on the “install” button from the TWRP main menu and then navigate to your Download folder again.
Step 6: Now here, select the BETA-SuperSU-v2.50.zip file and get the slide at the bottom on the screen and click on install button.
